Manchester United are keeping a close tab on Jonathan Tah, as his contract with Bayer Leverkusen expires this summer (as per Sky Sports).
Tah, 29, will benefit any team as no transfer fee has to be paid to sign him. In the summer of 2015, the German international joined Leverkusen from Hamburger SV.
Last season, he even played a decent role in making the German club win their first-ever Bundesliga title. Jonathan Tah plays as a centre-back, a position where Man United need backup.
During last season’s Bundesliga campaign, Tah blasted four goals in 31 games. So, his goal-scoring ability can benefit the Red Devils too.
Man United now hold a strong position in the Europa League, with a win in the first leg at Bilbao 3-0 in the semi-finals on Thursday.
Winning the Europa League will open United’s doors for the Champions League football next season. It could be a tempting reason for several players to join the 13-time PL winners.
